SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the City Marshal and/or Chief Deputy, assigns, reviews, assists and supervises the daily work and responsibilities of the code enforcement division within the City Marshals Office. Performs complex tasks relative to assigned responsibilities and daily departmental functions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a closely related field. Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) license is required at time of hire. Must have completed a field training program or equivalent and have 2 years full time law enforcement experience.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed both in an indoor and outdoor work environment. May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 160 pounds.
