Description
RoleYavapai County Community Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Registered Nurse I to provide nursing care services that support the health and well-being of our community. This position plays an important role in delivering patient-centered care, managing chronic conditions, and promoting wellness through education and preventative services.
The ideal candidate is committed to public health and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team in a clinical setting. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred to better serve our diverse patient population and previous experience working in Federally Qualified Health Centers.

Apply Today!Major Duties, Responsibilities- Provides nursing services including direct patient care, care management, and provider support.
- Supports back-office operations by optimizing clinic workflow.
- Completes medication refills and tasks, prior authorizations, and triages patient inquires.
- Serves as a resource for other back-office staff in the areas of patient consultation and inquiry using nursing knowledge and expertise.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:Registered Nurse from an accredited school.
Experience: No nursing experience required.
Additional Requirements:Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
Must be Licensed Registered Nurse from an accredited school.
Must possess current Arizona Nursing license.
Must possess current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Professionals.
Must possess a current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

- Keep management informed of key operating issues affecting the department.

Work Environment:The work involves potential exposure to infections, contagious diseases and blood borne pathogens. Clinical staff are required to use appropriate protective equipment. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
Physical Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Sufficient vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech ability to communicate effective in-person and telephonically. Capable of frequent repetitive movement of arms, fingers, and wrists. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
