The City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation is recruiting seasonal staff to work with our 2026 Camp Fort Worth and Mobile Recreation summer day camp programs. We are looking for enthusiastic Senior Camp Leaders who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and encouraging participants to look up from the screen, engage with their peers, learn and develop, try something new, forge everlasting friendships, all while having huge amounts of fun! Camp Fort Worth and Mobile Recreation are summer camp programs located in 21 community centers and 4 schools throughout the City of Fort Worth.

Camp Fort Worth and Mobile Recreation summer camp provide a great opportunity to make a positive impact while ensuring the safety and well-being of children ages 5-12. We offer the following:

The Senior Camp Leader job responsibilities include:

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

Depending on the assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Medium work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
