Description
DescriptionCharleston County Consolidated Emergency Communications Center (ECC) is looking for a Mentorship Program Coordinator who supports the administration of the organization’s mentorship and job shadowing programs.
HIRING PAY RATE: $50,440 - $66,060 (Estimated Annual Salary)APPLICATION PROCESS & DEADLINE: Submitted applications are reviewed by the hiring department, on a going basis, prior to the APPLICATION DEADLINE OF: Sunday, March 29, 2026, or sooner if position is filled.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe ECC Mentorship Program Coordinator supports the administration of the organization’s mentorship and job shadowing programs. Working closely with Professional Development, HR, and department leaders, this role helps match participants, coordinate schedules, and ensure employees have meaningful opportunities to learn and grow in their careers.
Job functions include: - Coordinate the mentorship and job shadowing programs, including scheduling, communication, and logistics.
- Support the process of pairing mentors with mentees and tracking participation.
- Maintain program materials and resources provided by Professional Development, HR, or leadership.
- Communicate program updates and opportunities to employees.
- Help plan events such as program kick-offs, check-ins, and recognition activities.
- Collect feedback from participants and share insights with Professional Development, HR, or program leads.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure programs run smoothly.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate’s Degree, coursework in Human Resources or Business, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ year of administrative, coordination, or HR-related experience preferred (internships and volunteer work considered).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
