Position DescriptionThe Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Division is dedicated to deliver exceptional, comprehensive, and holistic medical care. Our goal is to diagnose, treat, and manage functional impairment across a diverse variety of inpatient and outpatient educational settings. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.
Major/Essential Functions- Provide inpatient coverage for Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital
- 28-35 adult patients daily w/APRN support available
- Call 1 to 2 weekends/month with call split among other adult providers
- 72 bed facility with 130 admissions/month
- Patient Diagnosis: 20% Stroke, 15% Trauma, 5-10% Spinal, and mix of Ortho, Debility
- Train and Supervise PM&R Residents
- Open Rank position, salary is dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.
- Optional VA appointment/clinic time
Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications- MD or DO.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R or in the process of becoming Board Eligible at the completion of training.
- Able to Obtain a Texas State Medical License.
