JOB SUMMARYThe Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual
for the position of:
Budget Officer & Grants Administrator ** THIS POSITION WILL START IN MAY ** Hiring Range: $73,004.04 - $116,806.46 Anticipated Hiring Range: $73,004.04 - $94,905.25 Retirement Benefits (TMRS), 2-to-1 Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Effective Within the First 35 days of Employment Flex Scheduling Opportunities Tuition Reimbursement Wellness Benefits Training & Continuing Education Opportunities Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in municipal budgeting and/or grant administration, or a related field. Municipal experience preferred.
The Budget Officer & Grants Admin supports the Town’s financial management by assisting with the development, monitoring, and forecasting of the operating and capital budgets, including multi-year financial planning. The position monitors revenues and expenditures, prepares financial status projections, and ensures compliance in the administration of Town grants.
